Game Summary:

Utica Post 229 defeated Vestal Post 89 16-3 in an Army Division game played at Notre dame High School.  Utica was led by the pitching of Mike King.  King threw 5 complrtr innings in a mercy ruled game giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, 6 Ks and 4 base on balls.  All 3 runs were earned.  Hitting stars for Utica were Ryan Donovan, 3 for 4 with 4 RBI's, Joe Perotta 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's, Mike Obernesser 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and Mike Lackey 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's.

Losing pitcher for Vestal Post was Dave Kobylarz. Hitting stars for Vestal were Brett Fiorentino 2 for 3, Chad Starzer 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's and Jim Perez 2 for 3.
