Adrean Post 625 came from behind in their match-up with Vestal Post 89, winning 6-2 at Murnane Field.  Adrean got a strong pitching performance out of Jr. thrower Mike Gaetano over 6 complete innings.  Gaetano 1 run on 4 hits and left 8 Vestal batters on base and struck out 5 before giving way to Tom Appleton.  Appleton gave up 1 unearned run in the 7th after getting 2 outs.  He got Aly Goltshant to fly out but walked Dave Ulrich.  Ulrich was followed by a base hit from Brett Fiorentino and another walk to Chad Starzer.  With one out, Appleton was able to get Jim Perez to ground out to second for the second run.  He then Nick pace to fly out harmlessly to the left fielder for the final out.

Hitting stars for Adrean were Kevin Rowlands, 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, Collier Maddox one for two with a run.

Hitting stars for Vestal were Dave Ulrich 2 for 2 with 2 walks and Brett Fiorentino 2 for 3 with an RBI and a double. Jack Sommerville took the loss
